Presentation of Queens Award

Following the announcement in April that Mantracourt had been awarded the prestigious 'Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade', this week saw the presentation of the Royal warrant.

Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon presented the award to Company Director David Wilmington who was joined by Mantracourt staff to celebrate the company's success.

Sponsorship of Formule ETS 2009 Team

Mantracourt congratulate the 'Ecole de Technologie Superieure' engineering team from the University of Quebec on their achievements in the 2009 Formula SAE Competition organised by the Society of Automotive Engineers.

Over 90 competing university teams from all over the globe, designed, built and tested prototype Formula-style racing cars and competed in categories such as Design, Endurance, Fuel Economy, Acceleration, Cost & Manufacturing Analysis.

Mantracourt sponsored the 2009 'Ecole de Technologie Superieure' team who used the ICA amplifier in their vehicle suspension tests.

Queen's Award for Enterprise

New Release for 2009

Mantracourt are expanding their range of Digital Signal Conditioning devices with the launch of the DSCUSB. Responding to growing demand for USB interface, the device has been designed to provide simple connectivity between load cell or strain gauge bridge input sensors and PC.

The DSCUSB is for use with most strain gauge bridge input sensors including strain, weight, load, force, torque, pressure as well as LVDT, humidity, accelerometer, displacement & proximity. Learn more.

Launch of New Generation Telemetry Range

New Range of Incell Amplifiers

The new range of Miniature Load Cell Amplifiers (ICAS & H) are now available in sample quantities. This new generation of products feature many improvements contained in a smaller and more versatile package.
These include:
Standardised mounting hole for faster & easier installation.
Wider output ranges.
Improved performance of up to 400% (High Stability Version) over operating temperature.
Standardised excitation.
Plated through holes for wire connections.
RoHS compliant.
An ATEX (Intrinsically Safe) variant.

BSSM Advances in Experimental Mechanics

EMex 08 took place in September as part of the British Society of Strain Measurements 8th International Conference held at the National Physical Laboratory in London. Leading academics and industry professionals had the opportunity to meet and discuss new developments in experimental mechanics and Mantracourt's latest T24 wireless telemetry products were a hot talking point.

Re-design of the W12/24 Power Supply

Following the successful redesign of the LS3 power supply, we have now also redesigned the W12/24 technology to improve durability as well as some of our production techniques.
This PSU replaces the existing W12/24.
At the same time we have also decided to remove the W24/48 power supply option from the ADW range and ADP. This product has had a very low sales level and can no longer be supported in its current format. We have kept stocks of the transformers for service and repair use but we will not be able to sell any new PSU's in the 24/48 range.
