Machines for Singing
Machines for Singing

Machines for Singing is a unique architectural sound installation which 'plugs in' to the Gardner Arts Centre in Brighton to record the subsonic and supersonic life of the architecture's fabric. Our ICA2 amplifiers are being used to amplify the signals from the strain gauges embeded into the fabric of the building. This signal is then converted to sound to create a symphony of the interaction of environmental forces with structural elements and can be experienced live on their own web site from Friday 16th June 2006.
